I've dedicated myself to special education since 2000. I started by volunteering at Camp Chesed in Los Angeles. I then worked for seven summers at Camp Chaverim, a sleepaway camp for children with special needs. Inspired by my grandmother and encouraged by my wife, I pursued a Master's degree in Education/Special Education. I have experience teaching Jewish children from diverse backgrounds and cultures in various educational settings. I've taught at special education day schools, Modern Orthodox day schools, and provided one-on-one tutoring in Judaic and secular subjects. I also served as a division head in a large day camp, managing the first-grade division for three summers. Currently, I work as a Special Education provider in a Far Rockaway yeshiva, where my diverse teaching experiences allow me to connect with and support students of all abilities. Fluent in Hebrew and conversational in several other languages, I incorporate my love for music and dance into my lessons to create an engaging learning environment.
